This one is going to be FAST-

It will take some seat time to figure out safe engine heights but this thing should run low 130s with a 1.60 gear. Stay tuned as we monitor things over the next couple of weeks. There is some re-rigging taking place before it gets wet again.

Why are you guessing "only" 130? I am going to bump that up another 4 mph if you can find a 37p to that hull likes. I think Adam ran 123 with a 300xs? That was about 4 to 5 years ago. Adam did not have the prop choices that are available now. The torque of the 300R along with the Argo weight and design. It will pull a 42p if you can twist the blades to make one.

Put your tray tables up and seat backs forward people...this should be an E ticket ride. Look forward to seeing where this combo can go.

    PS..like the prop wall.

I know of a set of 42 pitch props they made for some g2 etecs.

this Argo with that power will go faster than you want to go be careful.

Adam had really good propellers and worked closely with Dave DeWald. The boat ran 126 with a refined "on the edge" set up, remote pick-up (which we will not use), and a 300XS. Steve ran a much more conservative set up (close to what it will have now) and it was still a 120 boat.

Those Argo and Twister catamarans are superfast! They are built for offshore racing (offshore 3C - Merc 200xs) so they can handle wakes too... Killer boats!!!
