I know a couple people in MI that were in early for the medical MJ and they are all doing very well because of it. None of them grew before it were legal at the state level either. Now that it is legal for anyone, I wonder what will happen. I know it will not change over night, but in time I am sure they will lose some business. I always avoided it because it is still illegal at the federal level and while I have not heard of any DEA or other fed busts, I REALLLYYYY do not want to go to prison and lose to forfeiture.

I do not know, but almost everybody sells that stuff now. Not sure what it is for exactly. A miracle cure all maybe? No THC, or very little so it is legal. In Wisconsin possession of THC is illegal, so hemp would be OK. I have no idea how that falls federally or if hemp is legal federally too? So confusing and hemp is some bad ass material.

Saw a patch while on a country cruise this afternoon just outside Cincinnati in the town of Sardinia.
UNMISTAKEABLE. I thought WOW! No ones got nuts big enough to plant that much mari-hoochie so close and visible to a public road.
Looks just like weed, but skinnier.

I have arthritis bad and the cbd salve helps as does the vape oil. There are two kinds of oil. One for vapes and one for a drop under the tongue. My parents use the under the tongue oil. It was funny when I first took them the oil. Parents are both near 90 and have no clue about marijuana. Mom asked what it was and I told her it was a derivative of pot. First question was is it legal and next was where did I get it. I explained cbd has zero thc so they would not get high. They tried it and have been regular users for about 3 months now. There is so much pot growing wild around here that you never give it a second thought when you see it. In Illinois you can buy thc products from a dispensary but not cbd. Other shops that sell cbd cannot sell thc products. It's all gonna be recreational first of the year supposedly so it won't much matter then. There was a lot of it grown in Illinois during ww2. Made some badass rope out of the stuff.

I talked to my Dr. about the CBD oil for my knee but it would make me test positive for THC which would mean he couldn't continue treating me.

All pain management clinics are the same. They are very strict when you are on pain medicine. I made the mistake of telling them I took an extra pain pill one day and was told not to do that again and it was a violation of what I agreed to when I signed papers for treatment.
The reason for all of this is the damn politicians and media creating the narrative that we have a huge problem with people who get pain medicine from doctors. When the truth is only 10% of people that get pain medicine from doctors develop a problem with it. The vast majority of the opioid problem is from illegal street drugs and people who use ONLY street drugs but the media makes it sound like it's because of doctors. The pill mills in Florida started the attention to pain medicine.
Most states have very strict guidlines for pain medicine but Fl. had clinics/doctor that were handing them out like candy. Now most people think that's how it is everywhere.
So now the DEA is watching pain management clinics and pharmacy's like they are Mafia hideouts and doctors are scared to do anything that will attract attention.
But the MSM loves to sensationalize things to get viewers, reader, listeners to their media. It's why when there is an oil spill they list the amount in gallons but list the price of oil in bbls. Gives them bigger numbers to post.
So the people who need the medicine get screwed because politicians only care about looking like they care, to get re-elected.
Read this---> https://healthylivingassociation.org...ioid-epidemic/
"What’s almost never mentioned in mainstream news media stories is the fact that opioid deaths are a very rare occurrence for long-term users of the drugs. In fact, the risk of death, even among long-term users, is about two-tenths of one percent.
Is it likely you’ll become addicted to opioids if you take them for more than several months? No. The “addiction rate” is less than 1 percent, which doesn’t rank anywhere near the “epidemic” stage. The typical scenario depicted in screaming headlines and hyped TV specials is a fantasy. The fake story goes something like this: Jill visits the doctor and complains of pain. The negligent, money-hungry doctor can’t be bothered with Jill’s case so she just prescribes some opioids to make the meddlesome patient go home. Jill takes the drugs. Jill gets addicted. Jill can’t get more from the doctor, so Jill locates the neighborhood heroin dealer and is now a full-blown, suburban junkie."Last edited by CDave; 06-27-2019 at 07:41 PM.
