It's the factory ram. I will use the Seastar power assist instead of the Verado power steering. It cost a little more but I can use custom hub and it does not run full time like the Verado pump. I can also use the Seastar Pro trim levers. Gotta keep both hands on the wheel ya know!

Will you be moving any weight/rigging forward to compensate for the extra heft of the 450R? Throttle body for each bank of cylinders?
Porta bracket looks crazy on there.I CAN ALWAYS MAKE ANOTHER DOLLAR, BUT I CANNOT MAKE ANOTHER DAY

Anyone that has used the Porta brackets know that they are bullet proof, absolutely functional for changes on the fly and should get used going into every turn. I will never own another tunnel without one.

I have mine set up on a dash gauge. I know my high point and don't go past it. When its rough or I am going into turn I drop the motor.

I used Diaz for the first couple runs with the Talon but alternated with Crescent Lake. The county ramp is great and if you’re early, the run south towards dead lake is usually flat and during the week the lake is empty. Also lots of room if you need to get past break in hours. Dead lake looks like a perfect testing lake but the fish camp ramp can get busy.
Just saying, you already need a bigger boat and perhaps a bigger lakeMark

Crescent Lake is 60 miles from me. Diaz is 32. It's 2.5 miles long. Plenty of space. The 300R hits top end in about 1/2 mile at 113.

Understood, it’s closer for me. Watch out on the south shore of Diaz, there are some shallows that aren’t obvious.

There's a guy here in New Jersey that runs a 21 liberator on the Delaware. I've seen him run over silt/mud flats that only held a few inches of water. His rooster tail goes black.
