It may be faster but I still like the classic long hood short deck styling better. Nothing nicer than a 60,s Stingray.

i do agree with your thoughts on the 4door Charger, but it seems to be working for Dodge.
Corvette is the only US built true sports car? What is the metric to determine that?

Corvette lost me with the c7. Digital display for gauges is a no go for me. Moving the engine behind the driver seals the deal. My c5 will be with me for a while I guess.

Can go up to 175 miles per charge if driven gently. What if driven not so gently, with a/c or heat on? Radio, headlights etc etc?
Not going anywhere anytime soon, in my opinion.

Basically it's an R/C car you can drive. Have fun for 15-20 min. on track and then recharge. Then take out your ICE car on track while the electric one is charging or buy two ele. ones and switch out while one is charging.

The argument reminds me of the four-stroke argument.
Actually normal driving batlife serves the purpose. It's on the way, even battery hybrid hydrogen fuel cell. Fill in under two minutes, it's all possible.

No wheres even close. The E Vette has a range of UP TO 175 miles per charge if it is driven LIGHTLY. It is in the article you linked to. That is not practical, at all.

That would serve 90% of the population driving range per day.
And that's not a GM car.

90% of the population are looking for a 2 seat car with almost no trunk space?

Not a GM car? Wow, nothing gets past you.

You're just brilliant, 90% drive that amount daily. At least in this hicktown of 7 million people, the daily commute can be accomplished more than once on that charge range. Even rural commuters do less daily. Seats in the car really don't have anything to do with it unless they're ridesharing, have you heard that big word before.
