    You (they) should not change a car so drastically and still use the same name. Similar to when Dodge brought the Charger back, with 4 doors. Name it something else.

    I respectfully disagree. The Corvette is the only US built true sports car, still in production over 60 years after its introduction. The Corvette is an iconic vehicle and to many a lifestyle. As long as Chevrolet continues to build a two seat sports car it should be the Corvette.
    i do agree with your thoughts on the 4door Charger, but it seems to be working for Dodge.

    Technically it was already a mid engine and has been for decades. Even my '66 Coup had the engine set way back. Front of the engine was very close to the center line of the front wheels.

    So did they fix the teething problems with the aluminum frame flexing from the engine? I'm gonna stick with my Porsche.

    And the front is too pointy like a fish.... Reminds me of the Mako kit you could get for the 3rd gen.
