Where to find 260/280 new Bosch pump and Black 56psi reg.

Have made lots of calls and getting different info from every place. Bosch says the 0-580-254-950 pump is still available under that # and also # 69608, but when calling Summit racing they cant cross or pull up the 10 digit # and the 69608 # they no longer sale. When talking to NAPA, they can pull up both #s but the 0-580-254-950 pump is 360.00 and the 69608 # cost 160.00 and pics are different. Also read in a blog that the Summit racing pump # 69513 was the correct pump for 147.99. Brucato stopped selling the pump and could not tell me the pump that they used to sale. And for the regulator, Bosch says they discontinued it 8 years ago and that I would have to email their motorsports division to get advice on a replacement for it. Any one have confirmed info that is confirmable or proven?

Just went through this myself for a 280. I didn't need a regulator though. The part number for the pump I bought at Oreilly's is listed further down in the post. It's confusing as the Bosch boxes have 3 or more different sets of numbers on them.

My drag motor Bosch fuel pump I use on my run stand said good bye a while back had issues finding replacement , called Pro Marine no luck with Bosch , BUT they did nave an electric pump looked like a clone but skinnyer than the Bosch , I’ve been running my builds using it for several months with no issues , I called the other day ordering parts and was gonna order a spare and it was sold out , I got on the waiting list , if memory serves me it was less than $100 and it is pressuring up the black as well as the gold regulator motors with no problems ....I do have a black regulator I’ll sell if your interested ...

The pump has to have not only the necessary pressure,but be able to maintain that pressure at WOT,20-30 gallons per hour,or more...test running a powerhead under a no or minimal load condition will never approach the volume use necessary for loaded full throttle.If Pro sells the pump for the application I would assume it's adequate,but I would still make sure the system,not only the pump,can maintain pressure at all times,Chris

That was - is the pump Pro Marine was selling to replace the Bosch (56 and 39 regulator motors I was told ) that seems to be a bear for folks to find ...

Also the size of the physical pump means nothing in regards to the pumps performance curve and gallons per minute it can and will pump !

Cary, I can't help you out till next week but I may have 2 different options here in Thebes for you to look at. Might consider a Aeromotive regulator or similar from Summit. I will get with you 1st of next week. Roy.

I have an 11 page pdf Bosch sent to me. Lists tons of their fuel pumps and stats. I can email if anyone wants it, PM me. The one I bought is 0580464126. Jay texted me a number for a pump from Promarine but I already had the Bosch pump so I kept it. The original pump I had was from a Merc Drag motor and this is the part number I was told superseded it. It's working well. Best I can tell from the metric chart in the PDF, the 0580464126 will pump 175 liters per hour at 325 kpa or about 47 psi.

So...thats an unfiltered (unrestricted) 46 gallons per hour at 47 psi...add filters,90 degree turns,fuel lines etc...to me sounds like it could become marginal,especially with a little contaminate in the filter...,depends on the motor,I run a pressure gauge on the dash,Chris

I also run the 126 and I’ve flow tested it in my race boat. In my configuration with 1/2” suction side, water separator, then 3/8” feed with inline filter, and 3/8” return, it delivered 163LPH, 43 GPH, while consuming 5.7 amps at 39 psi flowing through the fuel rail and back to the boat. For those that care about such things…
