Will a bad trigger cause no spark on all cylinders?
Working on a buddy's 200 Merc with what looks like a promax fuel injection. It cut out and left him stranded a couple times but it ran fine for a long time inbetween. Now it has no spark. I'm sure the trigger has issues because if you wiggle the wires the ohm meter varies quite a bit. It has a cdi stator that seems to ohm out ok.

Trigger provides advance stator has hi and low speed windings and charge coils , my guess is the switch boxes or bad ground
