    Easily Sprayable Urethane Bedliner ?

The original 1986 Imron paint on my Scarabís trailer is finally failing in several areas (not bad for that old !). Iíd like to re-spray once and be done with it, with something more resistant to rock chips. I know guys have done this with truck bedliner before, but I want it to look decent, without super heavy texture. Any suggestions ? I was planning to use my 3M Accuspray gun with the huge tip. Iím aware of the isocyanate risks with spraying urethanes and Iíve got that under control.

    thanks,
    Matt

Have to ask , are the rails solid inside to outside in those areas? Two part epoxy paint if you can still get it , tough stuff.

Blasted the rails to bare metal and didn't use primer, 12 years later still hard as rock , two - three light coats. Never been inside , used through the salty Ontario winters

Was recommended by a heavy trailer guy.
You can ad pumice stone to give texture grip.

Thanks for your advice FMP, I have used Devoe products before for some architectural applications, they do make some good stuff. Did this one go flat and chalky over time ? That’s my limited experience with epoxies as topcoats.

    Its a C-channel trailer.

How long is it? Find a powder coat shop with a large oven. Just another option.

Hard to beat Imron though. I think I would paint it, and I HATE painting trailers.
