Switching from a 1998 250 EFI to a 2013 Optimax 250 rigging question?

So I currently have a 1998 Mercury 250 EFI motor setup for premix. I'm looking at replacing it with a newer used 250 Optimax. What all needs to be changed with my rigging and what can be reused? The most recent motor I found local is a 2013, but I have seen a 2012 and a 2010. Any year better than the other?

Gonna need an oil tank with the opti , a 9 to 14 pin adp harness for the main plug in . Most all else should connect. hf...

Thanks for the comment. I'm glad there's an adapter for the main harness. Do I need an oil tank with the remote digital gauge or can I network the motor to one of my HDS gen 3 chart plotters?
