Mercury 4500 Gen II throttle spacer

Is there a spacer made to provide clearance for a Mercury throttle. My throttle hits the gps at full throttle. Need about 1/2 clearance added to console to eliminate.
    TIA
    Tom

The spacer is pretty thick. If I only need
5 to .75" I toss the base on some starboard and trace it out with a router

Does the Mercury throttle truly go all the way down when at full throttle? meaning, if my gps is mounted with 1/2 inch sticking out above the console will the throttle hit the screen or does it stop an inch or so above the console? Is there an adjustment to limit the forward travel of the throttle while still allowing the throttle to fully engage the carbs on the motor?

Are those handles splined onto the shaft to allow you to reposition it slightly, possibly loosing some reverse throttle but giving you clearance at WOT

Yes but it's a big jump. The is some adjustment built in that you can angle the whole box back
