Power difference of Mercury 2.4 Bridgeport vs standard 2.4 200 (carb)

What is the difference in horsepower from a mercury 2.4 Bridgeport and a stock mercury 2.4 200 black max (carb)? Thanks for the help!

Bridgeport carb (if that's what ya comparing) is rated at 220 I think..

2.5.. nic or chrome didn't change hp.

There were 3 versions. A 2.4 carb 220 hp, 2.4 efi 240 hp and a 2.4 mod vp at 252 hp, all at 7000 rpm. Most powerfull non bridgeport non race was the 220 laser efi.

did you now that they also built a "laser" efi Bridgeport also?.. it wasn't rated.. had several "carb" 200's that would run jus a good as tha "laser" 220 in '87/'88..... same time id bought tha "laser" Bridgeport motor, '88... tha BP Laser efi had a different ecu also... only one I saw with a "pot" on it.. what about tha 7 petal "carb" formula motor?
