Those old 19ft Daytona`s were really popular in Mod-VP Marathon racing back in the day.

I can believe it. To bad none of those run today. They would be competitive in todays enduro. The Canoe is a Cougar but same boat and it`s fast. Does it still run in the enduro?

It's been a few years since the War Canoe ran this race.
The War Canoe and his team was a previous winner and always competitive. I think we all wish he had a change in heart.

Bull you know this story probably better than me.

The story you refer to is about the 21ft Cougar/DB 3LTR that they would not allow to race because they said it was "to fast". So whats the 110mph speed limit for? Anyway I don`t know anymore than that. I read it all on the public Dave board.

The boat I was asking about was the 19ft War Canoe. I like that boat. I know it`s all the same team But like you I wish it would come back and race. The 21 would be great in the green class w/300XS.

Oldfiberglass ran this beautiful Allison with a stock sst120 he had just rigged a week or so before the race.
Oh ya he also Iron Manned the entire race.
