Need help with trim motor.
Hello my names nash,
Just bought a 1980 sleekcraft sst and need help with my trim motor. What is going on is i took my boat out to lakw elsinore and it ran good the whole day. When i went to the ramp my trim motor was having a hard time lifting the engine. So i came home and saw it was low on oil. Put a little quicksliver 10w30 in while the motor was down and it was working for a little then started bubbling real bad.
Let it sit for a little now all it is doing is clicking on the raise and lower. One click per press of the button. Now it wont raise or lower. Tried going directly to the pump and motor by running my negating from the battery to the black wire and positive to green then posotive to blue. Pump will not turn over.
Any help is greatly appreciated
