Chrysler Lower Unit?
This came bundled with some really old vintage outboards and a Feather Craft Firefly A/B Utility boat I picked up today. Can anyone give me some info on it? Does anyone run old Chrysler stuff? It’s neat and I’d like it to go to someone that can use it for parts or spares.

Thanks guys, yes I have no need for it, and I realize this isn’t the classifieds section. I picked up a 1950 Feather Craft Firefly A/B utility racer, a 1946 Mercury KD-4S, and a 1929 Johnson K-45. The Feather Craft was the reason I was there, but the retired owner was selling his things off. They offered me a fair deal for everything, and I figure I might be able to horse trade or sell the other things to help fund a Merc KG7H for the utility boat. I just dove head first into stuff that I have zero knowledge in!

First question is , over or underdriven. Mark both drive and prop shafts and turn the drive one complete, note prop shaft rotation from original index mark.

Yes turn the driveshaft clockwise and note whether one exact turn gives the prop shaft 7% more, 7% less or exactly the same, and which way the prop turned. The shadowing confuses my eye whether the prop is RH or LH.
What ever those details are, this is a pre-150 type, you can tell by the shear pin/bolt drive. Chrysler put these on the 105 racer starting in 1967 and used them thru the 135

Prop turns clockwise along with shaft, and after one revolution, the prop moves further, so 7% more?
