I don't think its exactly that LOL... The release has racing attached to its name. No speculation on my end, I am in the spectator seats just like everyone else.

450hp, Mercury Racing V8. Probably 2yr warranty and pricing I would guess close to 50k each. JMO.
Weight to be close to current 400r.

Maybe they will go back and start making all the propellers that they discontinued over the past few years... put the customer first.

Maybe they announce that the 300r comes in off white like the breaking news they had about the Verado a few years ago that made the front page of this site for two months

Or maybe they are announcing that they are the new distributor for the scream and fly decals and shirts.. I don’t know what you’d get first if you ordered today, the Screamandfly decals and shirts or the 300r

300r crate engines, so your tow rig can have the same engine as your boat..... wait.. I got deja vu that already happened...

It will be 450 plus hp and a revised I6 block. Their new casting equipment will allow for a larger bore and potentially even slightly reduced weight.

Not much. Whatever they announce will weigh much less than a 400R.

LOL-I don't see that happening-its time to move on, the new casting facility is for the new V-8 block and it weighs less then the 300XS block already. They need it up and going to produce enough to meet the market demand.

I guess I am lucky that they are already starting to grow on me. Nobody liked the alien cowls when they came out and we didn't get the performance increase that comes with this new look. Once you experience the sound and performance it will be much more acceptable to you.

Paul went 115 "almost by accident it happened so fast" he put the boat in for the first time with 4 people, 120 gallons of fuel, 31 psi of water pressure and the 1.75 gear. This was no attempt at a speed run what so ever and was far from the 6400 rpm mark.

The new motors are serious even in their detuned state of drinking 87 octane.--These rigs are the real deal and will be putting up some #s never seen by twin 300s.
