East Texas Hog Country is indeed HOT and humid these hogs stick to the thick brush area and creeks to stay cool , hogs have no sweat glands and the ambient heat and humidity will kill them unless they have a place to cool off , that’s the reason most feral hogs are killed at night or dusk , every hog I kill are wet from coming from a creek soaking all day in the heat , it’s summer fun and my hunting spot is 4 miles from my front door ...
