15" Factory can - To cut or not to cut the snout - that is the question
My boat is going back together (hopefully soon) with a 15" factory mid. I always hated that the exhaust outlet was under water when moving at idle, so I'm contemplating cutting the turn down snout off like a champ mid. I know a bunch of guys have done it, so I'm hoping to get some feedback.
What's the good, bad and ugly about this? I know it will be a bit noisier at idle and I don't mind a bit. I love that sound. Thoughts?Keith-

Cut that f_cker off. Save the piece you cut in case you ever want to have it welded back on. It makes no performance difference either way.

Keith,
I thought you gave up on the little boats and became a big tuna boat captain.
