    Suburu techs here?

Mom has a '18 Suburu Outback. Has an intermttent hesitatation the dealer cannot find. Every once in a while, like once a week, it will hesitate for about three to four seconds when she tries to go from a dead stop. Dealer says it shows no codes and they have not been able to replicate it. She drives with one foot as does her husband (he's a BTK amputee)

    Any Ideas?

Try disconnecting the ground from the battery for 15min. and then hook it back up. In some situations this can solve a problem. If the problem returns then you know something is out of wack.

Also is the vehicle low on fuel when it does this, is the engine at operating temp? BTW, I'm not a Suburu tech.

I have never driven in Sweden, but have in Germany, France, Czech Republic and those roads and drivers are WAY better then what we have here. It is so frustrating driving on the Autobahn and then returning back to the states.

It's a 3 - 4 second hesitation from a complete stop, very intermittant. Been reading some forums, there is a bullitien on the throttle body motor......

Would make sense as to why it does not throw a code.

Computer does not see a problem.
