    Merc 450R

    Hi!

i know its little up in the air, but if Merc releases a 450R what kind of rpm range and gear ratio can we expect? 7,000 rpm limiter and 1:1.75 and 1:1.6?

    Cheers Toffen

When the next generation comes, "assuming it will", I am guessing that they won't want to turn it any harder then they are the current 300R (mid 6000) and I will make the assumption that the newly released gear 1.60 would also make sense. With that combination and propellers at 38 to 40 degree pitch, we are going to deal with issues that are not going to be all happy due to the light weight/speed combinations that will arise. If they allowed it to turn even a few hundred more with those big props, you are talking another 7 to 10 mph so where do we want it to end?

    Translation :
They gave you a supercharged 400 and a state of the art 300. The next unveil will weigh 650-700 lbs and be built to compete directly with 7 Marine and whatever those behemoth Yamaha's are I see strapped across the back from one end to the other of those semi-trailer length open fishin botes.

so where do we want it to end
    ( LMAO .. J.P. such a loaded question .. I have to take a shot )

Well like big duuu Mr ... I like drove my cousins jon boat with like a like 9. 9 like something once .. so now that my mom gave me like $4,000,000.00 from my trust for like completing 9th grade summer school. I'm like ready to like buy like one of your 28's and like put 3 of the 600 HP 300R's on it .. It should like go faster than like 200 MPH like my Mercielago . I hear they only want like $79,099.49 each for them. That's like so like awesome .. 1800 HP for like only $ 237,298.47
And with like everything I like no about boats ... Like what could go wrong
