    280 Fuel Pump?

My fuel pump died. Is this what folks are using? http://parts.promarineusa.com/produc.../1/1/8M8026000

Anything suitable for less than $500? I bought an inline Bosch fuel pump from Oreillys but the outflow fitting is different threads than the AN fitting from the old pump. Really not sure its suitable as the outflow diameter is smaller.

My fuel pump on my run stand that feeds high pressure to 280, Drags and 260 on motors I run and test , I had used the big Bosch Drag Motor 56lb regulated pump for years looked around and couldnt put my hands on one quick that I needed I called Pro Marine they didn’t have exact replacement but they did have one that they had been selling with no bad reports and it was 1/3 the price of Bosch I bought it and was real happy with its performance so far ...ALL Bosch products that we have enjoyed buying is drying up !!!

Called Promarine. Was told they no longer sell anything that works for this application.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I ended up keeping the Bosch I bought from Oreillys. It only cost me about $40 since they messed up the 1 day shipping. Tried to give me half off but couldnt figure out how, so I grabbed three 5 quart jugs of oil at $29 each as offset on the $130 pump. Local store I'm in and out of often so they felt bad about the mess up.

Figured out I could get a 10mm into 3/8 barb fitting. Walbro fitting actually since they use same outlet on some of their pumps. Waiting on the fitting to arrive from Summit Racing and hope to test run this weekend. Thanks again.

I'm running the Bosch 0580464126 on a 2.5 260 and it's worked out great. Much less amp draw than a 044 and plenty of capacity for a 2.5L. I did need the 10mm adapter, but it sounds like you've already figured that out.
