Urgent- ish help needed
So I try to help as much as poss, now I kinda need a little. Long story short. My timer base is sticky. Not stuck but slow moving like old grease. I know the stator is starting to drip goo, so I'll replace it. In the mean time id love to get it clean enough to use. My aunt and neice are coming to town and would like to go for a ride. My aunt gave me the boat, so I'd like to be able to go. The boat runs good other than that. Anybody local to port saint lucie familiar with popping the flywheel off and cleaning a timer base. I've got 2 weeks before she's here. Im gonna either leave it as is and hope for the best. But if it's not to hard to clean I'd like to do that.

Just need a few tools, puller, flywheel holder, will make it much easier,1 7/16 socket(if it's a regular socket grind the outside down so it fits into flywheel)screw driver and 1/4" chisel and misc to clean
some patience depending on last time flywheel was off..and if not sure TAKE pics of wiring before you take anything apart but there's not a lot to it..
They will talk you through it like it was nothingLETS GO BRANDON.... LETS GO BRANDON
Sometimes I talk to myself...then we both just laugh and laugh

I really appreciate it. I wouldn't want you to drive all the way up to do something that is not to hard. Actually I contacted a friend of mine here, is a retired Nuclear mechanic, who has a bad ass workshop garage. Id be surprised if he didn't have what I needed. If I cant get it done ill be sure to let you know. Gonna try to do it fri.

He's done everything. But retired a nuclear mechanic. Has a garage full of every tool I can imagine. If we can't get it I'll let you know. I apperciate the willingness to help. Guess it turns out to be easier than I expected.
