Now he can get back in the car. I loved seeing him in the Silver Arrows pits for several years. RIP Niki!

There was a good movie I saw a few years back on him while racing - HBO I think, with Chris Hemsworth - both actors looked very similar to the real life characters they played.

The movie was Rush, directed by Ron Howard.
If you've never seen the move LeMans, with Steve McQueen, watch it. IMO, the best racing movie ever made. The camera car for the movie was a Ford GT40 with the roof cut off.

RIP Nikki. Great quote from him: "What would life be like if we only did what is necessary?" His reply to being asked about the unnecessary risks taken by F1 drivers.

Great driver from an incredibly dangerous period in racing. He was born rich but had to borrow money to race until he proved himself and started getting paid. His family rejected his desire to race and did not support him at all.

The doctors thought he'd die and he received last rites after his crash. 6 weeks later he was racing.
