You can still get them from Mercury. PN 815358A1. Mercury is very proud of them. 6 Piece Ignition Cable Set. $142.00 Or you can get a set of six from Wizard Performance for $39.00. No they are not blue, but with the money you save you could make them any color you want.

I had did a search and in one of the members posts he asked if anyone had the part number for the ngk wire set for a 260 and a member rattled off the numbers. So I was thinking there must be a set premed for the 3.0 250efi?.

idk......looks cool? Lol. Our engine builder on the race boat puts those lines on every motor he does, so I just replicated it. I figure steel motors with forged pistons (like mine has) are pretty picky about engine temp, so that mod can’t hurt by keeping the temp more consistent throughout the block. Thanks for the good words!

The mercury engineer built the first set seven years ago using Taylor wire. So take it with a grain of salt.

Randy///the taylor wires were the ones breaking down,,,,the 7yr old MSD wires were on the numbers. Also the NGK blue wires also tested out very good but has a higher RF signature???? If anybody on here can explain how the higher RF could affect our ECU in a negative way????Mercury put them on all high performance engines....???
