1998 pro max 300 - oil leak?
1998 ProMax 300 - went out in the barn the other day and noticed a very small amount of oil on the top of the lower unit. It appears that is seeped out between where the lower and mid section come together. I have checked everywhere and cannot find oil leaking. Any ideas on something to check that I might have missed. The engine runs fine, but if there is an oil leak somewhere I would prefer to catch it sooner than later.
Thanks

If it is toward the front of the lower you may have a leaking shift shaft seal. Check lube for water intrusion. Was leaking substance clear oil or was it black?

Unfortunately operating as intended providing its not what rock said.
Is it dripping from the exhaust vents on the bottom of the mid.

It is towards the back and appears that it could be coming from the exhaust vents.
