Weird Idea!! Splaying motors on twin engine outboard cat..
This is just an idea that I have.. Rigging my outboard cat, it has a narrow tunnel and likes to lean to the outside at low to mid speeds, which I do not like. Do you think splaying the motors in on the top and out on the bottom would help keeping it level in low to mid speed turns, and how do you think it would effect high speed handling if he skegs were still straight at high speeds?? And wondering how adjustments would effect everything with toe in and toe out(tie bar adjustments)?? This is just an idea, I'm wondering what everybody thinks about this WEIRD subject..

Your thinking outside of the box.....Best keep Em straight......It would be a handful as the motors were trimed up... changing the castor.... also when slowing down.... strange stuff.....I thought about it years ago.....BSR......thinking it would be like power trim in the corners......when turning. It has been done. If you had 2 motors on a common trim plate it could work.

Also, you could only have the trim fixed, any up or down would put the tie bar in a bind.
