Wing is done. One of my RC buddies said a Corsair is hard to see... Dark blue.. Almost black. I think I have a fix for that...

Looks like $hit because I am a novice builder... I think I am going to paint it primer gray with white and black accents.

    The ParkZone Sport Cub mods..

Tundra tires from an FMS Kingfisher. A change to different prop hardware netted a drop in weight of almost 20 grams. This was reciprocating weight added to make it fly better and it was out on the nose. Which makes a big difference in CG (center of gravity). Pictures on CG stand with a larger battery full forward and it looks a slight nose down PERFECT.
Film at eleven!!! I guess I need the go pro on my head?

I forgot to mention I went from the stock flexible 9X6 to an 11X7 APC that has a totally different profile and is composite. Picture before spinner/prop mod. The new set up will facilitate more airflow across the motor and ESC also.

It rolls nicely... Snaps well. Loops accordingly.

    Moving on to the build

One thing cool about a build, you can do it how you want. One thing bad about a build, you might think you know what the f%^k you are doing.

I glued in a part to mount the RX on.

I had a 5" axle off a tractor that broke and had the same pattern. It is hardened steel.

I've pulled a snapped axle in dump truck that look like that. Stupid driver learned what happens when you dump the clutch with a load.
I forget the size of the truck but it was powered by a Cat 3208. Always loved that engine. I can honestly say I've never had to do any major work on one. They just run and run.
