If its a torque master why does it not have side water pick ups? Has it been modified? Why is the price so high? It is still a used unit.

That is a coned Gen2 TM that is why there are no side inlets. Only gear ratio is 1.75:1. I would love to try that on my boat!!

Yes it has been modified to move the water pickup to the bottom...It was done by Tooter who is one of the best out there. It is a 1.75 ratio and the unit has very little time on it. I had it modified to put on my LCB Fastcat and ran it a few times... I ended up putting a different motor on the boat.
This unit has never been in salt water and is in pristine condition. I dont consider the price to be high at all. I have more than that in it.

That is very understandable thank you for the reply. Is it still available just wondering. I have a torque master on my 2014 Merc 250 Pro XS. Is tooter a legit shop and is he better than Bobs Machine? I don't know who all does that kind of work to lowers. May consider having mine done. If you have tooters # it would be appreciated. I may be interested in yours though.

chaos32 did you gain any Speed with this lower unit if so how much? I have my 250 on A 2100 Pulsar and am trying to get into the 80 So I can sell it. Just wondering if the speed gains are worth the $ spent.
