    I need a 120+miles etec

So now when you know that i need a 120+miles etec, i guess you want to know why? I want a etec that can go as fast as any merc we got here. The boat does 106mph on a good day with a 200xs ros

What is the fastest and cheapest way to get a 120miles etec? What do i have ? I got a 2008 250ho 3.4L, 20" mid and 1.71 gearhouse, and i got a 3.3L 225ho powerhead, but i also have a 15" mid to a 200xs ros, and a Sportsmaster but i need everything om the inside new, so i can build 1.5 gearratio or something like that (how low can i get to that House i have?)

And its 1thing that is alittle boring with the etec's, its the rpm. I want 1000 more, what to do ? If i get 1000more rpm's i can use standar etec 20" mid and the 1.71 gearhouse with bobs nosecone kit. It would be funny to have norways fastest etec

Its more than 1 solution to my problem, the easy and cheap solution, is to use the 300 ProMax i have. i want to see 100knots/115mph almost everytime i'm out driving, but i want to drive 300 hours a year, and then i guess etec is a better choice. If i dont use the 300pm on the blue, i'm going to use it on the yellow thats just going to be a sunshine boat and the Blue is a everyday racer

Anyone make a adapter i can have between the 2.5 15" merc mid and the etec powerhead? Anyone got drawings to a cnc driver ? If i put the driveshaft in the lathe, can i tig weld it or do i need to make a new? What kind of metal quality is the best way to go? How low gearratio can i get to the Sportsmaster to a 200xs ? How can i get more rpm's out of the etec? Can anyone "break" the emm and adjust the revlimiter or do i need a aftermarked ecu? the How much does a Taylor midsection cost ?

3.4L etec at 7200 rpm w 1.71 or 1.62 w 34 cleaver. No problem. It's been done. Going EFI would make it much easier.

The best solution is a 300R with a 1.60. Power, fuel economy, reliability, speed, and cool factor. Is there anything else that you are looking for?

We going to make a adapter i can have between then 15" 200xs 2.5 midsection and the 3.4L powerhead, then we make a new driveshaft. Then i add a 300map and reprogram the injectiors to give some % more fuel. Then i have a okey and pretty fast engine this summer. 6200rpm, 1.62gr and 34", shold be funny enough the first summer

Seems like your taking the hard route. Youd be better of getting a Jenkins mid setup with tall gear OMC or sporty if you want. Click image for larger version.
