Can anybody identify this boat and its crew?
This photo is from the Randy Rabe Rabco Boats Archive. The photo was taken in the early 1970s in Florida, and I cannot find any specific info on the boat and crew. I have a feeling you guys here could identify it.

I have an original framed poster--30 X 30? I'm sure it is a publicity picture from Mercury Marine--
It was taken at the Miami/Key West Race, November 1968--first race of the 1969 APBA Season
Doc and I had won the 1968 Outboard Championship in his 28' Magnum (#444)
Doc got a new Race Number---and--a free ride!!
Doc wanted the fastest Outboard for the new season
Odell came up with this 27' LIGHTWEIGHT Memco---and Dale Thayer
Odell set me up with Pat Duffy for the season
The Memco broke apart and sunk
Doc eventually took another free ride--with OMC
Guess who won the 1969 Outboard Championship?
