    First hydrostream

    Just wanted to share i bought my first hydrostream, a 79 viper which will be my first transom and recore that im planning on starting in a couple weeks and sharing photos and progress.

    Absolutely, that windshield is in great shape, no cracks or holes.

    Nice meeting you again Terry and glad it went to a good home. Like I said that is a great hull to start with, there was actually resin used when it was laid up unlike most of the others I resurrected. Any questions just ask.

    Thats no BS, what a great hull for a first project sold by a guy that is a straight shooter and didnt suger coat to make a sale. Thanks again lynn

    Has the foam boxes and box stringer setup. I believe it is the best structure design they came up with.

    It definitely seems to have kept the bottom straight. I would like to keep the original gel coat if i can but at some point in the boats life it got sprayed with a clear coat and its peeling off. Is there a product or a way to strip it off without damaging the gel coat.

    Start with a good pressure washer and sand paper from there....
