Electric priming pump
What do you use to prime an engine instead of the primer bulb?

I use portable tanks and if I leave the vent closed and the tank so much as sees a reflection of the sun, it pressurizes.
Some use electric fuel pumps. Holley makes a red and a blue that covers all applications of horsepower for outboards.

I went to local advance auto and bought a Holley lectric , but that thing dont push chit , GPH is low and I didnt realize when I bought it , it's a cheapie, bout 50$ I guess , I'm on search for a better pump and reg myself , only bad thing I've noticed ,is if pump ever does fail ,low pressure pump on motor wont pull thru pump.

The carters like this are gerator pumps. Nothing to wear out. Flow -thru design. They work very well, and are extremely reliable. Use 3/8'' fittings only. 3-6 psi and up to 110 gph. The one referenced is 100gph which is plenty of fuel even when drawing thru and pushing thru filters. These pumps push, a lot better than they pull fuel. So mount close to the source and slightly lower if possible.

I run a small inline filter from my tank pick up then the pump is in next in line. After the pump, I push through a water separator then a Fram HPG1, into a slosh tank. The slosh tank has an intake line in the middle, a feed line (to the motor) in the bottom, and a return line to the main tank out the top. The return line has an inline fuel pressure regulator set at 3 psi that forces the slosh tank to stay full and preload the VST at 3 psi. Every outboard that I have (aside from a 50 yamaha) is rigged like this.
This might be a little over kill but over the years I have learned two things.
1. Keep fuel in the motor and it will live-
2. Keep water in the motor and it will live-

The whole concept of using the Carter pump is that it is a "lifting" pump that provides high volume @ a low pressure. Perfect for boats that have a pick-up tube mounted at the top of the tank. I believe the little Carters can lift 24" and still maintain their rated output numbers. And do not need to be regulated before going into a VST.
Squeeze ball , filter , pulse pump , filter , VST ( needle+ seat ) , screen , Walbro hi-pres pump all seemed compact , but with a lot of restrictions.
I Used a (big fitting) Mercruiser filter , Carter 4600 lift pump , to a stringer mounted sump box / Bosch 044 , fuel rail to a little Aeromotive regulator back to the box , and the overflow into one of the filter inlets . No air bubbles make it down and around the corner to run thru the pump and depending on injectors. It could run 30 to 90 lbs and never make a peep ..
