    v4 crossflow intake mods

    hey guys,
did a search about modifying the intake of a V4 to match the old style omc carb gaskets. Most of the post were multiple years old, so didnt want to drag up an old post. Is this mod still valid today? any reliability issues come from it? does anyone have the part number for the old style gaskets? approx what kind of gain is to be expected when adding this mod along with the intake stuffers? thanks!

I assume you have started with a late style inlet that moves the carbs forward to allow for better flow?
What year and HP engine have you started with and hence what size carbs?

    Ok,
Talk to chris carson about reeds.
How much compression does your engine now have?
No free ride with a jet, they really load the engine up

At RPM you are running I would be very careful cutting intake. Intake mod mainly for high rpm
