From Monte Skinner: Some know and some don't but Matthew Caldwell blew the f2 boat over today while filming some footage. He was ejected and suffered some major foot and ankle injuries. Real serious. They are having to pin them on the outside because he was in water and are concerned about infection so this will not be a simple procedure.
Hes still in OR and lost a good bit of blood firm an artery being cut at his feet.
No spinal issues, no head issues and only 1 other cut on his body.
Don't know how long the surgery will take because they are literally having to fasten his feet back on at his ankles.
Lots of prayers needed and I'll make a post after he gets out of surgery.

This update came from Monte Skinner
    Update on Matthew:
They've got a couple of hrs to go on his right foot /shin. Left foot has blood flow restored and has the external fixtures installed and main issue with right foot is not enough blood flow. Vascula
r sergeon is trying to repair that now then they will put the external rods and pins.
Main prayers are for blood flow to be restored.
He's been stable throughout the surgery so he's gonna be OK. Just the fact of high risk of infection will be the challenge for the next few days.

Last update for the night on Matthew.
They have repaired the right foot side circulation and is hopeful now.
Tonight is critical for circulation because it was missing for over 7 hrs on that foot. They are optimistic for sure and hopefully no infection will set in. They are going back in the morning to the OR and check everything and flush again. Keep the prayers coming.

Update from Monte Skinner on Matthew Caldwell**
They were moving him to ICU about midnight last night. He was snoring like crazy when I left. They gonna go back in this morning to flush and clean and check everything out. He has an arm injury but nothi
ng more than a fracture but they didn't even address it and wast concerned since that wasn't the priority. It was cut but nothing major. They were gonna tend to that this morning also.

Update on Matthew : they really weren't convinced he had blood flow last night up to this morning but finally has some pulse through his right foot and is looking better. He can move his toes with pain but they move.
He's in OR hopefully just cleaning
and checking the progress. Doctors supposed to be coming back give an update shortly.
All is a praise and prayers are being felt.
Vitals have been perfect the whole time and he remembers everything so there will be some good stories coming soon
