    I just looked at what they have online. And I don't think it was the fasteners either. More like they worked loose and it went down hill from there.

    Red locktite lol, yeah need some heat to crack loose. Same with nylocs a bit of heat helps a LOT but one time use. There are those distorted nut lock nuts as well as the sliced/pinched ones. All one time use with stainless imo due to the thread galling BS
    I have read that loctite is a no-no in a saltwater enviroment; it absorbs water and promotes electrolysis:
