Exclamation So who wants a time capsule Buick Grand National? Or how about two!

Hard to believe, but a few years ago this pair of Grand Nationals were found, which were literally sitting in storage since they were brand new. According to the article I read, the serial numbers were consecutive, which alone is very unique. Stuff like this I just love seeing.

The trouble is two fold. First, the value declines if you actually drive them. Cars are meant to be driven. Second, if you tried to drive them you'd find stuff not working.

Our neighbor was a Buick dealer and the GNX was a special car. They corrected the weakness of the Grand National but they were limited production and pricey.

Good rear end setup in the GNX.

I know someone with a very quick GN, aside from the sedate aftermarket wider rims and rubber it's stock appearance is what really is the best part of a 9 second ride.

Dutweiller built street driven 7 second GN's back in the day. Unheard of by those days standards, he was light years ahead of the rest of us

I had a T-Type. Fun car, wish I had it now

Might be the winner of the ugliest dash in a car ever. That is hideous. Outside not much better, hood looks ok. But it is a buick....
