At any rate, if I'm trying to remove a wheel...

I'm going to check my Miata scissors jack for height. If it's OK, I will buy another Miata jack from a wrecker's and get my brother to weld on a nub. If the Miata jack is too tall, the Lotus message board recommends a Porsche scissors jack. My assumption is that even used Porsche jacks are more money than regular car parts, but if that's what it takes, so be it.
David the new body style Fusion is a very low car as well, the factory scissor jack is quite small. They are too low to even fit on my hoist at work, I can lift any other Ford model. They may be cheaper than a Porsche jack.

I have always wanted a Healey 3000. But isn't "cursed Healey" a redundancy?
    Per Rock:

"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."

    Per my hero Instigator:

"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."
