Ya need my front end, stops better than the drums, which a friend had long a but he punched to out his Ironhead to 80 inch. Went like a scalded cat, didn't stop to good though!

Nice bike man. Yeah I could use a better front end and a disk brake. But I am stubborn and really like the way it looks now. I do not ride much and cannot remember the last time I even ran all the way through 3rd. I am running a 21T front drive sprocket which would put me at about 120 @ 7k rpms in 4th. That is too fast for me to run on spokes, so I just ride around town and keep it mostly slow.

Your right to left conversion is one of the best I have seen. The factory ones from 75-6 were junk and it was better to just convert them back to the way <74 were. I have more trouble going to the bagger and hitting the rear brake instead of the shifter then I do on the sporty. Of course the Sporty was my first street bike. Bought it in 1993.

The bagger is a 1999 Ultra Classic, first year of the twin cam. I bought it in 2009 with 1800 miles on it. Currently it has 137k. Old guy bought it, rode it a bit and then his wife got sick. Put it in the back of his barn and kind of forgot about it. I hear from somebody that worked for him that he had the bike sitting there, so I went and offered him 9k and we agreed to 9500. I put a Rhinehardt 2/1, Andrews 26's along with the chain driven cam tension-er upgrade and had the heads worked by Fat Boyz. I fI remeber correctly it was just under a hundred hp and torque, Torque a little higher then hp. It is not a rocket but I have ridden it to Corpus twice, phoenix 4 times, California once. Oh, it still has the original pistons in it too.

    For Robby.

I pay respect where it’s due and this is bad ass.
Going to the AMA museum 1/2 mile from my house and becomes motivation for another visit.

Damn, y'all have some nice bikes.

Always wanted one of Confederate Cycles Confederado's. But it was either an Allison or the bike. I couldn't afford both and save money for the place I wanted to move to. Then the knee issues hit, that's life. At least I got a couple of years with the Allison.

They were built here in Louisiana. Notice there isn't an oil tank, the frame is the oil tank, mainly the top tube.

On the old daze? In 1966,( at 16) raced my Triumph Oswego drag strip. The stuff ran there was always some wacko doing a EX run. Remember a twin rocket powered go kart (gets a bit hairy over a 100!), and one day a Merc IL6 laid down longitudinal in a bike frame. 6 megaphones pointed the stands? Need I saw ya should have heard it? YES!
And the bikes parked the right side starting line, wait there for our tun. But was on a slope so precarious if side stand. So here comes a slingshot nitro push start and fires 100% nitro. DAMN..75% bikes fell over, and been a Nitro freak ever since ! But think the best was this idiot from Michigan! Should I say ya should have been there...(take the ear plugs out! )

And on Oswego? My 10 year older bro, and got baby sat the first year vette. Both us west coast now, and he still races vintage. And he tracked down the old vette the registry, and found out it a frame off restore, sitting in showroom chevy dealer show room! So my bro was up here vintage races, and stopped in the dealer. Found the owner and said..my old ride! Hands him some original paperwork...

OK, one more. My Uncle John, Dads brother. Him and my Aunt Ruth (she passed a few back at 99, 4 months short of 100th BDay! Simple remarkable people and taught me "the real way". My Aunt sent this to me long ago. Had to take a pic, hope readable. Both missed but never forgotten (and my Mom and Dad)

I keep thinking Yamaha IT 490 but not sure they were ever street legal???
    Yammi DT 200/250’s???

Thinking i want baddest, street legal 2 stroke enduro w/street tires.
