Well finished the AR15 6.5 Grendel PSA upper and lower build and after a slight adjustment on the adjustable gas block the thing shoots , cycles , and stays open on last round fired like a dream I opted to take my S&F buds suggestion on the magazine choice too ...
Got my AR15 6.5 Grendel upper back from BCA and married it to a new PSA lower fitting it with a 4.7 oz heavier buffer and used the suggested magazine, this upper doesn’t have an adjustable gas block so the buffer has to be heavier to work correctly , it’s on the way , gonna be a great Christmas - Birthday present to some lucky kin folk ...

I shoot hogs most everyday , nighttime animals , very smart , hogs have better scent smelling ability than a white tail deer , they have excellent hearing but lack the vision ability of most .
Feral hogs are good to eat as long as they are females or a “bar” hog (male that’s been de nutted ) and processed correctly , my best friend just today butchered 8 today the caught in his trap . I use a brine soak to make the gamey taste get not as strong , others may do it different ways with success too , probably not many kill more feral hog than I do , I kill 3-5 a week in the hotter months , I live 4 miles from the close place I hunt and 6 miles to my other stand one is a north wind stand and other is a south wind stand , you have to hunt the wind or your wasting your time , I have moonshine 2 hog lights at all my feeders used them all and these are IMO the best I also use sniper hog lights on the gun when I’m not at MY places or Nite Site optics , but that kinda takes the sport out of the hunt !!
