    Guys ,

For those interested I own 3 complete Palmetto State Armory AR’s ( 2 AR 15’s and 1 AR 10 ) I love them all thier quality is great , they cycle slick, they are very accurate , and they don’t cost the farm I just this week bought another PSA complete lower to marry with a Bear Creek Arsenal 6.5 Grendel upper now that I have a handle on the tunability of these weapons in the 6.5 Grendel caliber that are notorious of having feed issues but got that lined out with the help of my S&F brothers ....

Ok, all mine are built, none store bought.
    AR15 223 wylde
    AR15 300 BO pistol
    AR15 300 BO rifle
    AR15 Beowulf 16 inch
    AR15 Beowulf 18 inch
    AR10 .308 win
My wife built her own 300 BO rifle
None of them have been shot enough to be dialed in. Not sure what optics are on them each. Couple red dots, couple Pursuit scopes, Bushnell, nikon, tasco..... All of them cycle and lock on last. Most of the time.

I have a 9mm lower to do. It's a new frontier armory one thats specific to glock magazines. Gonna make a 4" pistol I think.

I'm at entry level with this type of gun, so will go with a PSA to start.... either a 10 or a 15, more likely a 15..... next one will be a higher quality one in a 10.....

I built my AR15. 223/556 NATO sized, so you can shoot both.
Plenty of parts sites online, like cheaperThanDirt.com
I built mine for just around $500, and machined my own 80% lower. Did it with a drill press, and a cheap slide vice from harbor freight I've had for a while.
You can build your own for about $350 if you go with all the cheap parts.

When you get to choices like plain steel bolt carriers vs all the coatings and hardened stuff, prices can triple and quadruple real quick. Remember, some parts really don't matter for quality. Like the gas blocks. A $5 one vs a $100 one do the same job. Same as your gas tube, stock style triggers, stocks, grips, etc.
I even anodized several parts myself with a battery charger, Lye, battery acid off amazon, and some t-shirt dye from walmart!

Couple pics of mine. Except for the bolt carrier, all the other parts are cheap. The bipod was $12 on Amazon, scope was $80 at bass pro shop. That wasn’t included in my $500 price.
Flip up iron sights, stainless fluted rifle length barrel, several other small goodies. But overall, only about $500, plus machining my own lower.
These ghost guns, I can never sell. I own it for life.

I like this guy already..... They've come along way since drill press and slide vice.

First hand info to absorb if weight is a factor.. My PSA AR 10 in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber with optics and mag weighs over 14 lbs !!! My PSA AR 15 in 6.5 Grendel caliber with same optic weighs a tad over 7 lbs , if you hunt if you think that other 7 lbs is hardly a difference think twice !!!
