    Question 1999 2.5L 200 EFI question.

Removed the heads from my old motor today. #5 & #6 pistons look like they weren’t getting oil. But the other pistons and cylinders look fine. Where can I send my injectors to be cleaned and tested? Should I be looking at anything else before assembling my replacement? I plan on pre-mixing the new one.

I like Brendan Power. Brucato does well also.

Since there was rust present in both cylinders, could it be possible that the gasket between the block and midsection blew?
I’m planning on lifting the block off of the midsection this evening.

That is entirely possible. I had one years ago that kept killing 5 & 6 and it turned out to be a crack in the divider tween exhaust ports on bottom of block. Hopefully yours is just a gasket.

I bought another shortblock to replace this one. Just curious as to what caused it to blow.
