Water in 2.5l mercury 200 cylinder
Hey y’all, I first noticed a white milky mixture on my spark plugs. I figured it was the head gaskets as the compression test was low and my boat struggled to get out of the hole. I replaced the head gaskets on both sides, the right bank was clean and the pistons all looked good. The left side had water droplets all in it. Figuring it was the head gaskets, replaced them and the compression was good. Ran the boat for a couple months and now it is really bogging down, when I unplug the top left and bottom left spark plugs nothing changes in the idling of the engine, they are still sparking good. But the plugs where very milky. Worse than before. What could be causing this? The engine is a 1998 2.5l v6 and has been used a lot. It’s carbed. Compression was 115-120 on all 6 cylinders.
Tha k you
