My new rig 35 rabco ! 540 bulldogs !
It's been so long since I've posted here I almost forgot how I just wanted to share and show everybody my new rig I sure am having fun with that the only problem is I think I'm going to have to remortgage the house in order to put fuel in it every weekend LOL
All original from rabco 540 Bulldogs with 1050 dominators full roller bam Transmissions and TRS drives thinking about putting number 3 speed Masters on it.
Also has a bathroom fresh water system and a refrigerator which I will never use sure is a cool piece of kind of like a time capsule .SEEBOLD CHAMPBOAT MERCURY S3000

Now that is nice my buddy had trs drives on an old scarab and he could not kill them they were bullet proof he did not have the power you have but beat on them and did nothing but abuse. Gorgeous rig just fine. Rick

Was it still in the St. Pete area when you bought it? That boat is legendary. The inspiration for the Gulf Coast kids to get into go-fasts.

Used to see the gold "violator" run religiously around Boca Ciega bay as a kid fishing in the '80s. Could hear him comin' long before seein' him! Twin big blocks a-singing! That boat was on the water A LOT!!!!!! Not quite as often as I was fishin', but A LOT! Easily the most recognized boat in the area at that time.

What a time machine! The velour interior brings back some old memories too. I think you'll find the TRS drives reasonably bullet proof, but somewhat problematic to find parts for. (There are parts available though.) Speedmasters will prove harder to get certain parts for, but will up the wow factor significantly. Thanks for sharing!

Way cool!
I could have guessed the yr just by seeing the interior
Love the Barry White comment.
You need an afro wig and and high heeled shoes to drive it
Amazing to find it in that condition.
Congrats and please keep us up to date on news on it.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
