    Journals have lube and lint from being wrapped up. I would replace bearings as I have found Merc bearings are junk. First PM by date stamp asking for PayPai account and money sent gets it.

    Don't like the ball bearing upper. The old roller style lasts forever under normal wear. The roller bearing doesn't handle linear loads as well and is way too tight. I have seen more come out of 100 hour motors feeling rough than the old style. I put a new one on just like changing rod bolts when I have a motor down. JMHO.
