    Ah, you're right, then #3 will because the tea will run along the outside of the pipe, may take some time, but will fill the glass.

    That depends on the velocity and how sharp the edge is at the turn. If it is enough to break the surface tension it will fall in 2. Theoretically of course.

    Its a trick. This is a visual explanation of my middle of the night pee in the dark challenge of "will it hit the bowl?" put to a drawing. You cant hear anything so no cup gets filled, it just hits the floor. Ask my wife she'll tell ya its common sense
