Selling my 1996 Yamaha 200 Saltwater Series outboards. $7,000
These are carbureted motors and they run great. Given the age of these motors, I would say that they are in "Very Good" condition.
Always flushed after every use. Only ever used Yamaha oil and ethanol-free fuel.
I was told by previous owner that these had about 300 hours on them when installed with these gauges, so less than 800 total hours on them now. If you know anything about these older Yamahas, you know their reputation for being bulletproof.
They have new trim motors last year and just got new water pump kits and I am changing lower unit fluid before they sell.
These motors took me and my family to the Abacos, Bahamas last May, over 200 miles off the coast of Florida, so you know I trust them. I put over 600 miles on them in that trip.
I am upgrading to slightly newer Yamaha 225 EFIs, staying with 2-strokes.
Props are not included in sale.
I might have some gauges and/or controls to sell and/or include for the right buyer, but no promises on the extras until my new engines are installed. If I have to discount the motors much, I will just keep the gauges and controls and sell them separately, as they certainly have value.
I would rather sell these motors as a pair because it will be easier, but if you want to make an offer for more than half of the asking price for the first one, I may be inclined to split them up.
These motors are at my shop where I have a forklift and a certified Yamaha mechanic on standby to remove them on a weekend day at $50/hr. I will pay for half of the mechanic's labor to remove them.
This is the same certified Yamaha mechanic who just did the water pumps.
I can text movies of engines running.
Spring is coming, come get these motors so I can put my new EFI's on.
    Text or call with questions.
    Thanks for reading.
