Looking for string steering set up for a comp HST

Well it happened again, had a Comp light weight HST Hydro-stream follow me home. The hull had string steering at one time as evident by the holes in the front under deck bulk head and the cable rollers that are still in the boat. Would like to find a set up if possible.
Also some time back there was a hst on this board that had a rear cowl on it, anybody know anything about that?

No this one was never panted, just white gel coat, never seen one this light got it out of PA, looking like at one time the transom had a 12" mid engine on it here is how I bought it. The hull has at the time I got it a 2.4 bp carb, with hydraulic sea star pro steering, fat shaft sportmaster with straight skeg, Deweilder hydraulic jack plate with gauge, Mazco re 28 pitch prop. Noah built alien cowl, adjustable hot foot. Got it off ebay last month
