dave S. thread....OMC racing
Ya crazy dave Here....I was looking at my V4 bunch of racing cases and All but one have a thrust block and tie down spot..... the one does not. Maybe because of the PT option coming out? They are super nice made cases.......Merc Me.....Anyone?

Post some pics....we love looking at this stuff
Even though I was 12 years old when it came out I remember the thrust block and serated transom brackets on the X-115. None of us knew what power trim was. We thought it was cool that a stern drive could tilt up and idle through shallow water!18 Talon/2.4 carb SOLD

When I was in OPC in late 70's early 80's the only class in the production hulls that was allowed to use trim was FS - Family Ski - which was a JP type boat, 99 cubic inches, about 16' production v-bottom, but it had to have two people aboard. All of the other production classes ran a thrust block.
