Cole TR2 Flat Bottom Drag Boat

    Cole TR2 Flat bottom boat
    Tandem trailer
    355 small block
    671 blower
    Approximately 600-650hp

I don't unfortunately know much about the boat, but it runs well and pulls like a train. Hit 123mph on GPS. As I know it, Cole was very similar to Sanger boats, very well built hull, beautiful original paint, seat bracing is strong, hull is immaculate. Stringers have been checked and are perfect. Motor mounts are solid. Looking for $15000 USD. Offers accepted.

I had the same question actually. The previous owner showed me GPS at 123. I didn't think it could make it to that number. I never really wanted the v drive, but I took it in trade for something and only used it twice. I've never personally had it over 90, but it did have lots left. I didn't want to push it because it was up for sale. I'm sure it'll be in the triple digits, maybe he was just blowing smoke. 103mph perhaps? If you've got experience with these types of boats maybe you could help me out. I've had lots of single engine outboards like Hydrostreams and Chargers, but this is my first v drive. Thanks

I really don't know. Sorry. I was told it was profesionally built to handle the HP.

650hp with the right ratio in the v drive will go past a 100 no problem. That's a nice looking boat.

It will definitely hit 100. I'm just not positive on a top speed. Thanks! It is a nice boat for sure
