I like the Ally bass boat idea. Fast, lots of storage, just walk off the dock and onto the deck

The Allison web site does not show the dead rise of the 21. It lists my SS2000 as 22 degrees dead rise. I don't think having a roller come over the bow of the bass model would be much different then what happens in mine - I get soaked. But for the size of my SS the ride is great in the rough.

    2. 21 skater or splash seems to be the best one here, problem is they just don’t do anything for me and do not fit into my oddball catogry whatsoever

    3. Another progression. This one I like the best. Try to find a light progression with a 300x and go for 100mph. But again there aren’t many progressions for sale let alone oddball/light ones

    4. LCB has got my attention as well. But I boat on small busy lakes and I’m not sure how one would handle. If anyone has one in the northeast I’d love to go for a spin.
23 ft Cougar MTR is unreal on boat chopped wake boat chopped lakes. Twins was outstanding. You can cruise with rollers and chop in every direction at 70 to 80 mph and bust 95 with twin 300xs. i was blown away how smooth they handled that super sunday busy long weekend lake last summer. And twin 300,sound mean!! I would emagine a single 400 would be well over 90 on a 23 and possibly 100 with a 22 MTR?

that boat wasn’t a light layup, just some lightweight tricks, good driver and awesome color scheme

It was a standard layup, with some lightweight seats and some other trick parts. Transom was cut down for a 15 inch motor.

The man himself, he doesn’t like discussing this boat though. But my facts are accurate not about the speeds but the other stuff came right from the horses mouth

To get 100mph was it running a 15" X or did it also do it with a 20"?

Does progression use foam to construct all their transoms?
