This time around I want to find an oddball or special built boat. Im trying to find a 21'-24' SOB or small cat that will run 100mph and still be able to run in some snotty water like the progression did. I cant afford a new boat or I would just have one built. Below ill name a few boats that come to mind any tips would be great.

Pretty much any intimidator- The red one comes to mind, they just seem alittle to light to be able to run in rough water

The baby blue progression- was a fast boat until it got its bad rep

Kevlar 22 progression- I know of one last I hurd it went to Bermuda

20' tuff- there was one that went 110 or something but that was with a **** ton of setback IDK how that would run even if I could find it.

    24 Tuff- cant afford

21 skater- I saw one awhile back that was the last one ever made and its build light and strong. Problem is I don't want to spend 35k on a 25 year old boat. Love the 21 skaters and knockoffs.

Any other oddball/rare/special or just plain badass boats out there
As somebody else has already stated, if you want to go over 100MPH in a 21' boat, you're pretty much going to have to go with a cat. That said, going over 100MPH in any type of 21' hull (cat or vee) means you're going to give up some rough water ability. For instance, your 22 Progression ran 94 MPH which is pretty decent. But it also had pretty decent rough water handling. You could go faster in a Tuff 21, but give up some rough water handling. You could go even faster in a 21' cat, but give up even more rough water handling.

If you want my 2 cents, the Tuff 24 is the best bang for the buck in what you're looking for. Although they're fairly new, there are occasionally used ones out there.

I have never seen another single outboard that will do what the Argo, Twister or the LCB is capable of in choppy water. The Argo and Twister are more capable but they are also 25% longer. All of them have proven to be sketchy when pushed and/or if not set up correctly so handle with care. If you want 100 mph capability with a single every time "in water that an STV or similar is too small for" then these are your choices and unfortunately none of them are easy to find or inexpensive.

I have owned 18, 22, and Z25 Donzi's. And a 260 Powerquest before I went into cats. Have you had any cat ownership/experience? I may not run 115-120 in rough conditions, but I will be right with you at anything close to 80 -100 in pretty snotty conditions

I barley can convince my wife to ride in the boat as it is. She would never go with me if she had to sit behind me the whole time.
